New York Chamber Musicians is a non-profit, IRS Section 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization dedicated to offering the very best of classical, contemporary, and world chamber music in intimate settings performed by world class chamber musicians. What makes NYCM different from other concert series’ is our goal of honoring compassionate organizations that are dedicated to easing the suffering of children. NYCM and its artists are committed to help.
NYCM’s programs are designed to provide a wide-range of repertoire, offering both classic masterpieces as well as contemporary compositions. NYCM brings today’s American composers to the forefront, inviting them to discuss their works in our concerts and allowing our audiences to gain insight and perspective on these new masterpieces.
Gilbert Kalish, Philip Setzer, and Alan Kay, all world renowned musicians, are our invited featured performers for the inaugural season. They are amongst the apex of the chamber music world and we appreciate their artistic contribution. Appearing along with these legendary giants are our resident artists who represent the best of a new generation of chamber musicians, all extremely accomplished in their own right.
